WELCOME TO VFW AUXILIARY DEPARTMENT of FLORIDA

Welcome to the Department of Florida Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. We are an organization consisting of fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, grandfathers, grandmothers, grandsons and granddaughters of those persons, both male and female that have honorably served in the Armed forces of the United States. We believe in Americanism, which has been defined as an unfailing love of country; loyalty to its institutions and ideals, eagerness to defend it against all enemies, undivided allegiance to the flag, and a desire to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and posterity.

We serve and support the veterans, active-duty soldiers and their families of the United States. For, they are the ones that put their lives on the line to allow us the daily freedoms we enjoy.

Please note, if your Auxiliary has been collecting diapers and/or baby wipes for National President Brenda Bryant’s special project Operation Bottom Cover, the giving of these items to Hurricane Helene relief efforts through VFW Posts and Auxiliaries in affected states would be counted toward her special project when reporting at the end of the Program Year.

Thank you,

VFW Auxiliary National Headquarters

ORAL HISTORY PROJECT
Members should be receiving emails and post cards from PCI, which is the company doing this project. If you do not wish to participate simply call them or unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.  This is a wonderful way to preserve our members history within the Auxiliary.

DISASTER RELIEF
A Disaster Relief Fund has been set up to help our Auxiliary Brothers and Sisters in case of emergency (Hurricane, Tornado, fire, flood). A minimum of not less than $250
and not more than $500 shall be distributed at the discretion of the Department President.

If you have members who are in need, Please share this information with them, if they are unable to send  their information to the Dept. President, we ask that you assist them and let Ginger  know exactly what their circumstances are.  This will help her distribute the monies.  She will then send their names to the Dept. Treasurer.  We also need to know where they are staying in the event that they have lost their home and correct contact info.
